About the Program

Our youth development program empowers young Brazilians and Brazilian-Canadians to embrace their cultural identity while developing leadership skills. Through mentorship, cultural activities, and community service projects, participants build confidence and create lasting connections.

The Youth Development Program is designed to empower young people aged 12-25 to become confident leaders while staying connected to their Brazilian roots. This comprehensive program combines cultural education with practical life skills development.

Participants engage in weekly workshops covering topics such as leadership, communication, cultural identity, and community engagement. The program includes mentorship opportunities where experienced community members guide and support young participants.

Cultural activities form a core part of the program, including traditional Brazilian music and dance, storytelling sessions, and cultural exchange events. These activities help participants develop a strong sense of identity and pride in their heritage.

Community service projects allow participants to give back while developing social responsibility and teamwork skills. Past projects have included organizing cultural festivals, supporting newcomer families, and environmental initiatives.
